Joann Lane is a trained Celebrant affiliated with the Celebrant USA Foundation & Institute ™ of Montclair, New Jersey. She adheres to the Celebrant USA Code of Ethics, which includes, in part, a vow to maintain professional standards in service to the public, to serve clients/ honorees with respect, sensitivity and professionalism, and to ensure that clients/honorees have complete and final say over their ceremonies. She is educated in the history of ceremonies and rituals in various cultures and comparative rituals for weddings, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, engagements and anniversaries and destination weddings.
She has studied interfaith weddings, civil weddings, weddings involving the children of the couple or of either spouse, and same gender ceremonies. She is fully qualified under the laws of the State of California and Hawaii to fulfill the legal requirements of an officiant for marriages and commitments.
Joann takes great pride in developing a warm relationship with her clients to help them achieve exactly what they want for celebrating important passages in their lives. And, as an accomplished speaker, she helps her clients' guests experience and participate in the joy of the event.
